Uganda's Permanent Representative To The United Nations
Adonia Ayebare is a Ugandan diplomat and international relations expert currently serving as Uganda’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York. He has previously held senior positions as Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Head of Mission to the African Union, and Special Envoy of the President of Uganda. Ayebare is widely recognized for his work in multilateral diplomacy, peace, and security, particularly in the Horn of Africa and the Great Lakes region

Representation
Act as Uganda’s official voice in all UN bodies (General Assembly, Security Council when Uganda is a member, ECOSOC, committees, etc.).
Negotiation
Participate in drafting and negotiating UN resolutions, treaties, and declarations on behalf of Uganda.

Engage with representatives of other member states to build alliances, lobby for Uganda’s priorities, and seek support for candidatures to UN positions.
